The PR291E30 2-stage snow thrower is equipped with standard speed drive and electric start engine; it is well-suited for homeowners who live in areas with moderate to heavy snow accumulation. Power steering and large, deep-tread tires allow for increased maneuverability and stability, and a 30-inch open width and 23-inch intake height allow for quick clearance on sidewalks and driveways. Convenient controls on the operator panel move the machine in forward and reverse, as well as rotate the discharge chute's positioning and pitch. Other features include skid pad, installed drift bar, and flood light. It also has option to install weight bar.

After a lot of searching I decided to purchase this snowblower to replace a very old (but still very functional) single stage Toro.
I was a little worried about ordering online because of how it would possibly arrive.
It came in a crate in a box, delivered by a local carrier and they brought it right in my garage, very good and easy delivery.
This Poulan is very big- It easily takes just one pass to clear an entire sidewalk.
It has electric start which is a nice upgrade to the pull start I was previously using.
It has power steering so it is really easy to steer-
There is no straining when pushing it.
The tires are pretty big, but functional.
Really throws the snow great and you can adjust where the snow goes.
Makes a perfectly clear pathway, even in deep snow!
Easily gets through powder and the thick heavy snow!
Can do my entire driveway and walk in just a few minutes.

Don't have much time for a thorough report tonight. Standby for a detailed review with pictures and a video. But for those interested in this blower today, this is a good 30" blower at a great price. It replaced a 25" 2-stage blower with tracks, and I haven't been disappointed. I'll add tons of amplified data soon.

UPDATE (21 DEC 2011):

Bottom Line Up Front: Great value. Works as advertised. If you don't get more than 6" of snow at a time, it may be more than you need.

SHIPPING
Ships via truck freight not UPS. Watch for an email from the trucking company. It will have a number to call so schedule the delivery. Mine shipped from the Phoenix area, so it was a little disappointing that it took 7 days to deliver.
Crate/Packaging: Very solid. See my pictures. Suffered zero damage in shipping.

ASSEMBLY

Amazon missed the delivery date twice. Also very poor customer service did not send out order at first i had to call if i wouldnt have called i dont think i would have gotten the snow blower Keep in MIND the RATING is FOR the SNOW BLOWER NOT AMAZON. Other than that i got my machine yesterday. i had no idea that this thing was going to be so BEASTY lol. It came on a crate very secure.
very little assembly needed though it was a little confusing. I had my nephews over and they helped me put it together. I have not had a chance to use it yet but i can not wait to try it out Looks like it is very well built tires are great electric start looks like its going to be easy light is pretty big controls are easy to use just push knobs in and move up or down shut moves very smooth love that it bought 2 extra sheer pins i went through the machine to make sure everything is tight also has a littl storage compartment in the front of the machine i have to checked the oil level looked ok will... The snow blower (Husqvarna ST121E) Was delivered by UPS. The box was delivered upside down so what oil was in the engine was now all over the snow blower. What a mess. After I spent two hours cleaning it up I went ahead and add the oil that came with it. It runs and starts great, the electric start is a nice feature. I have yet to use the snow blower ( no snow ) It seems to be well built. Time will tell.
